Commercial Heat Pump Maintenance

EJ Fidgeon offers commercial heat pump maintenance for shops, offices, hotels etc.

We are based in Mullingar Co. Westmeath and cover Dublin, Meath, Cavan, Kildare and Longford counties.

Proper preventative maintenance takes time.  It is not a 15min per unit job.

Our preventative maintenance is thorough and covers items such as:

  • Checking compressor voltage and amp draw
  • Checking tightness of electrical connections
  • Checking condenser fan motor amp draw, voltage and bearings
  • Checking indoor fan motor amp draw, voltage  and bearings
  • Replacing of indoor fan motor belt and checking for wear on drive and driven pulleys (where applicable)
  • Replacing of indoor air filters (where applicable)
  • Cleaning of “washable” filter (where applicable)
  • Checking condition and cleanliness of condenser coil
  • Checking conditioning and cleanliness of evaporator coil
  • Checking compressor contactor for wear
  • Checking for refrigerant leaks
  • Switching on the unit and checking temperature rise in heating mode
  • Switching on the unit and checking temperature drop in cooling mode
  • Setting the indoor controller to the correct date & time
  • Written report of engineers findings
  • F-Gas inspection label update.

Any malfunctions or repairs needed will be notified to the customer.

Our chiller preventative maintenance is thorough and covers items such as:
